Joe and his girlfriend Silvia have decided to go to the movies. While they are watching the film something strange happens, the villain from the movie pops out of the screen and yanks Silvia into the movie! Joe quickly follows into the movie to rescue her. Joe is soon granted the power of an action movie star by his idol Captain Blue. It is up to Joe to use this newfound power to travel the world of the movies to rescue Silvia.
When it comes to over the top side scrolling awesomeness Viewtiful Joe still reigns supreme. With a variety of time control VFX powers and some of the sweetest moves in gaming history Viewtiful Joe is simply incredible. Viewtiful Joe plays like the dream combination of old school gaming and new school technology. The controls are tight and responsive and the cartoony noir graphics have held up superbly.
